The Sweeper

HESL sweepers are specifically designed to suit many vineyards and harsh conditions. Built using quality materials these machines will consistently work at a high level of quality and can easily be maintained by the operator. This uniquely designed sweeper has long nylon brushes that do not damage vine trunks or irrigation lines and is the perfect machine for using around vines 2 years and over.

Each brush on the HESL Sweeper is 800mm in diameter making it easy to remove cuttings from directly under the vines and have been designed to allow rocks to escape through gaps in the bristles while still placing cuttings evenly down the centre of the row, therefore reducing the chance of wear and tear on other machinery.

HESL sweepers include an immediate break away system, this allows the head to swing away from vines and posts preventing damage to both vineyard and machine.

The driver has a clear view of the heads from the cab and can easily manoeuvre the sweeper around obstacles. For operator convenience the HESL sweeper has been designed to fit an existing front 3 point linkage kit allowing the sweeper to be fitted and removed when needed. This system also allows for easy adjustments to the height of the sweeper using the 3 point linkage kit. Where a front 3 point linkage kit is unavailable the sweepers can be fitted to a front mounted forklift on your tractor. Sweeper width can be adjusted hydraulically from the cab, with the standard HESL sweeper width 2.4m to 3m.
